Maine has always been known for its acclaimed boat building heritage, which dates back to 1607 when the English built the first boat in North America, off of Popham Beach.  This was the first boat to cross the Atlantic made on this side and it was called the "Virgina".  We call our boat end table the Bass Harbor and it was designed by a Maine boat builder, much like the ones who built the boat back in 1607.  Its gracefully curved sides and tapered legs make it very popular with our customers.

White Glove Delivery

Chilton offers nation-wide white glove delivery service, which means that your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped, transported to your home, carried inside, and assembled, as needed. Your charge is a flat rate based upon delivery distance from Maine, and includes an unlimited number of pieces (a particularly good value for larger orders).
