Hygge Table
Chilton's Hygge table is designed and built in Maine from solid ambrosia ("wormy") maple. The crisp lines contrast with and highlight ambrosia's rich wood grain. The Danish word hygge (pronounced 'hoo-guh') means "a sense of being cozy or comforted," which perfectly describes this design, a minimalist form embracing the warmth and natural beauty of wood.
Please note, there is significant natural variation in ambrosia maple wood, which means the pattern on every table will be unique. We believe it is this quality that gives ambrosia its warmth and charm. For those customers who prefer, we can also build the table in solid maple or in other woods. Please call to inquire.

White Glove Delivery
Chilton offers nation-wide white glove delivery service, which means that your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped, transported to your home, carried inside, and assembled, as needed. Your charge is a flat rate based upon delivery distance from Maine, and includes an unlimited number of pieces (a particularly good value for larger orders). For single item orders of smaller pieces, please call to inquire whether common carrier shipping is available.
