Shaker Wardrobe
A classic example of the simple lines and craftsmanship favored by Shaker carpenters in the 1800s. Chilton’s Shaker line of dressers and chests is made locally in Maine, built in cherry, the cases feature classic dovetail joinery and solid hardwood drawer box construction. The top compartment of this wardrobe or armoire has ample room for storage and can be configured with a bar for hanging clothes or with shelving (both bar and shelving are included). Bottom drawers are cedar-lined, perfect for storing blankets and sweaters.

Product Details:
Full extension side mounted drawer glides featuring 100 lbs. drawer capacity, 1/2" dovetailed hardwood drawer boxes, 3/4" undercut beveled tops, 1 1/4" tapered leg posts, 1 1/2"W cherry mushroom style knobs, soft close hinges on closet doors.
Please note that when your new cherry wood furniture arrives, it may be lighter in color than the wood shown in the accompanying photo. New cherry wood is initially a pale, straw color and gradually darkens to a beautiful amber over time with exposure to light.
